Our main Christmas Tree in the hall will be ready on 1.12.22. If pupils would like to make a decoration to place on the tree they are welcome to bring these in from Thursday until the final week of term. We are looking forward to seeing all their amazing creations.

Class 3 have had a fantastic RE Day, learning about family life and festivals in Judaism. We have been finding things out for ourselves and teaching each other so we have learnt some really interesting things!

Class 2 has had a great time in their forest school sessions. This week they learned how to make a fire and how to cook yummy bread over an open fire. Thank you very much Terry.

As part of RE day today, Cl1 have learnt about the Christmas story and used puppets to retell the story. We talked about how we celebrate Christmas with our families, made Christingles and decorated our classroom ready for Christmas celebrations. What an exciting time!

The pupils have had a wonderful morning raising money for Children in Need. Thank you to Class 4 for organising a brilliant event. Great work everyone!

Class 2 have had such a fun week this week, starting with the Odd sock day, which promotes anti-bullying week. Then it ends with the Children in Need day, when we dressed up and raised money for the charity.

Cl3 have been learning about Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar and the tragic end of this historical figure's life. We used drama to explore the story of the play as well as the relationships between the characters.

Class 1 have been learning about Anti-Bullying week this week. We have been wearing and designing odd socks, reading friendship stories and taking part in a special Children in Need day today. Well done Class 1!

In geography, Cl4 have been learning about mountains and linking this to knowledge about tectonic plates. We were lucky enough to use Jaffa cakes to recreate the plates colliding to form 'mountains'. We have also made star constellations in science this week.
