Welcome to Class 1
Class 1 is home to our reception (EYFS) children.
Our teacher is Mrs Wykes and our teaching assistants are Mrs Davis (mornings) and Miss Looms (afternoons).
Our classroom is a well organised, inviting and exciting place to learn where children access continuous provision alongside adult-led activities. We have our own Early Years garden with many opportunities for outdoor learning.

Autumn Term 1 Enquiry Question - Who am I?
Overview
Welcome to an amazing Autumn Term at Summercourt Academy packed full of inspiring learning opportunities. Our project enquiry question will involve the children exploring their own identity and individuality whilst settling into school routines. In addition, we will focus on building new relationships and making new friends. Our Key Texts for this topic will include: What makes me a me? Fox makes friends, Starting School and The Family Book.
