Welcome to Class 1
Class 1 is home to our reception (EYFS) children.
Our teacher is Mrs Wykes and our teaching assistants are Mrs Davis (mornings) and Miss Looms (afternoons).
Our classroom is a well organised, inviting and exciting place to learn where children access continuous provision alongside adult-led activities. We have our own Early Years garden with many opportunities for outdoor learning.

Summer Term 2 Enquiry Question - What lives beneath the waves?
Overview
This half-term we will finding out which creatures live in the ocean and how their bodies allow them to live, feed and move in the water. We will discover which creatures can live in rock pools and which ones live in the deeper ocean. We will explore the features of our local beaches and talk about what we like to do at the beach. We will also share some stories about mythical sea creatures such as mermaids. Our key texts include: Commotion in the Ocean, Tiddler, Sharing a Shell and The Mermaid of Zennor.
