This term's learning in Class 3 will be based around our project enquiry question: What is Art?
During this project, we will explore why we consider some things to be art, while others not. We will examine a range of modern and historical, well-known and lesser known artistic pieces from different cultures. We will produce our own pieces of art in various mediums and consider what we as humans gain from creating and viewing art.
Optional spelling homework is set every 2 weeks.
In class, we focus on the same 15 spellings. It would be great if you could explore them at home too. :)

- Do you know the definitions of all 15 words?
- What sound does the underlined phoneme make?
- Can you think of any other words that have the same phoneme spelt in the same way.?
- How many of these words can you spell? Try to practise any that you find tricky.
