Welcome to Class 1
Class 1 is home to our reception (EYFS) children.
Our teacher is Mrs Wykes and our teaching assistants are Mrs Davis (mornings) and Miss Looms (afternoons).
Our classroom is a well organised, inviting and exciting place to learn where children access continuous provision alongside adult-led activities. We have our own Early Years garden with many opportunities for outdoor learning.

Spring Term 1Â - Where will we go?
Overview
This half-term we will be reading stories that introduce different ways to travel, including space travel and travelling by train. We will be exploring our imagination and sharing our ideas about all the weird and wonderful places that we could go to, how we could get there and what we might find when we arrive!  Storytelling and drama will take an important lead for this topic and we will follow the interest and imagination of the children.  Key texts for this half term include ‘The Way Back Home’, ‘How to catch a Star’ and ‘Naughty Bus’.
