Welcome to Class 1
Class 1 is home to our reception (EYFS) children.
Our teacher is Mrs Wykes and our teaching assistants are Mrs Davis (mornings) and Miss Looms (afternoons).
Our classroom is a well organised, inviting and exciting place to learn where children access continuous provision alongside adult-led activities. We have our own Early Years garden with many opportunities for outdoor learning.

Spring Term 2Â - Where does our food come from?
Overview
This half-term we will finding out where our food grows, how it’s farmed and where we buy it from. We find out what ingredients go into some our favourite products. We will explore foods that are healthy and why our bodies need a well-balanced diet. We will find out what foods are produced here in Cornwall and what jobs are involved in food production. We will read key texts such ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’, The Enormous Turnip’ and ‘The Little Red Hen’. Â
